Our dedicated freeze-drying system is designed exclusively for the preservation of breastmilk. In August 2025, we invested in a new freeze-dry machine specifically designated for breastmilk preservation, ensuring this equipment is dedicated solely to providing safe and reliable breastmilk preservation services.

 

We are proud to have received approval from both the U.S. FDA and the Idaho Department of Environmental Health to freeze-dry breastmilk. At the time of approval, we were recognized as the only company in Idaho specializing in freeze-drying breastmilk.

Your breast milk arrives frozen and is carefully handled throughout every step of the preservation process.

 

• Each clean, dry tray is weighed before processing to establish a baseline weight.
• Frozen breast milk is transferred from its original storage bags onto the trays and weighed.
• Our freeze dryer can process up to 192 ounces per batch (up to 32 ounces per tray across six trays).
• Once the freeze-drying cycle is complete, each tray is weighed again to verify that moisture has been fully removed as part of our quality control process.
• The finished freeze-dried breast milk is packaged in premium, food-grade Mylar bags. An oxygen absorber is added immediately before each bag is heat sealed to help maintain freshness and long-term storage stability.

Preparing your freeze-dried breast milk is simple. Add the recommended amount of purified water to a sterilized bottle, mix with the powdered breast milk until fully dissolved, and feed promptly. Detailed preparation and storage instructions are included with every order.

   

We offer convenient drop-off at our Jerome facility for customers in the Jerome/Twin Falls areas.
