Depending on your approved travel authorization, reimbursable expenses may include:
Breast milk shipping and transportation services
Insulated shipping containers or coolers
Refrigerants such as dry ice or gel packs
Other approved transportation-related expenses needed to safely transport expressed breast milk
Preparing your freeze-dried breast milk is simple. Add the recommended amount of purified water to a sterilized bottle, mix with the powdered breast milk until fully dissolved, and feed promptly. Detailed preparation and storage instructions are included with every order.
Poppy’s Sweet & Savory provides professional freeze-drying services for breast milk preservation. We do not buy or sell breast milk.
For customers traveling on military orders, we can provide freeze-drying services and coordinate shipment of your preserved breast milk to your TDY location. We recommend contacting your unit’s travel office or approving official before travel to confirm eligibility and obtain advance authorization.
Please keep all receipts and documentation required for your travel reimbursement submission.
Reimbursement approval is determined by your command or agency. Poppy’s Sweet & Savory does not guarantee reimbursement eligibility.
